Minority Business Matters powers London’s ethnic minority business success

Heart of the City have partnered with MSDUK, the UK’s leading supplier diversity organisation, to support ethnic minority owned SMEs (small and medium sized businesses) to be a force for good through a pioneering programme, Minority Business Matters.

The programme will support ethnic minority owned SMEs and freelancers across the London to have a positive impact on people, places and the planet, and will run until March 2025.

How does it work?

Minority Business Matters supports ethnic minority businesses to become suppliers of leading brands and the public sector.
The flexible programme supports ethnic minority businesses to become supplier ready, embed social value and sustainability into their business and connect with leading brands.
With one-to-one support, learning programmes, networking and pitching opportunities, Minority Business Matters can help SMEs access contacts and win contracts.
To be eligible for free support, your business must be at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by people from ethnic minority backgrounds, made up of 250 employees or less, and London based.
This programme is best suited for businesses wanting to access supply chains of large corporates.
