Lunch and Learn:  How to Achieve Good Business Accreditation

Join us for an insightful online Lunch and Learn session with Good Business Charter (GBC) to find out how to become accredited, and why it’s important to your business, and to your employees.

Accreditations help provide market differentiation and proof that you comply with best practice. Applying for accreditations offer a chance for a reflection on your responsible business journey and could highlight areas of development. Buyers, funders and suppliers are increasingly looking for businesses that are behaving socially and environmentally responsibly.

The GBC, launched in 2020, is an accreditation scheme for responsible business behaviour with an aim to recognise, encourage and champion responsible business. Having an accreditation gives a clear signal to everyone who are awarded they truly care for their employees, customers, suppliers and the planet, all whilst paying their fair share of taxes.

We’re pleased to welcome Jenny Herrera, CEO of the Good Business Charter, for this engaging and interactive online workshop. Jenny will introduce the Good Business Charter and its significance for SMEs committed to responsible business practices.

Jenny will share examples from accredited SMEs to illustrate the wide-ranging benefits of being recognised for your responsible business behaviour. She’ll focus on how the framework helps to address specific areas such as ethical sourcing, equality, diversity and inclusion, and employee representation.

Jenny Herrera is the CEO of the Good Business Charter which recognises responsible business practices across 10 components covering care for employees, customers, suppliers and the environment whilst also paying tax according to the spirit of the law. Jenny is both a chartered accountant and experienced charity CEO.
