Speaker profiles 

Sue Hardy, Head of Social Value, Mace Group 

Sue is a highly experience Social Value practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in various sectors including Finance, Logistics, Infrastructure and Construction. 

She has developed social value strategies, social value frameworks and measurement frameworks for a range of diverse businesses and complex programmes. 

She has created and delivered award winning programmes on social mobility, employability and diversity and inclusion programmes. Ensuring there is a measurement framework in place to ensure that the social outcomes and impacts are fully measured, analysed and reported on. 

She has managed teams of up to 40 people to support the delivery of a range of community partnerships, including the development of robust communication plans to ensure that the partnerships achieve their goals. 

She has worked across a diverse range of businesses (private and public sector) and programmes to ensure that social value is fully embedded and to maximise the social value created.  

Joss Hunt, Co-Founder and Director of Programmes, GoodPeople 

Joss is the Co-Founder and Director of Programmes for GoodPeople, social enterprise connecting purposeful employers to diverse local talent. 

After a background in the commercial advertising industry, he has set up and scaled charities and social enterprises that connect local communities to education and employment at scale, both in the UK and internationally. 

Joss has designed and delivered large scale programmes, initiatives and employer networks across social value, green skills, and Section 106. 

He is a member of the City of London’s Skills for a Sustainable Skyline Taskforce, and nominated on the Climate Champions’ Power List.
