In conversation with Lydia Parnell, Global Corporate Responsibility Lead at Turner & Townsend

Today we’re launching a brand new series! ‘In conversation with’ will bring you insights from some of our ambassadors on responsible business topics across the year. We have incredible responsible business professionals in our ambassador network who share their expertise with our members and we’re excited to be able to share some of that online.

It’s International Women’s Day today so for the first in the series we spoke to Lydia Parnell, Global Corporate Responsibility Lead at Turner & Townsend about the importance of marking the day and her own professional journey. It was brilliant to catch up with her and hear about her experiences and how she’s overcome challenges around gender inequality at work. Lydia also shared her thoughts on how businesses should be working to end gender inequality, and she told us about some women who inspire her.

Thank you so much to Lydia for chatting with me and helping us launch this exciting new series – we hope you enjoy watching. And please share with us what you’re doing this International Women’s Day, on Twitter and LinkedIn, we’d love to see it!
