Any! Our Foundation Programme is specifically designed for small to medium-sized businesses with little to no experience in responsible business. We welcome everyone to our programme whether you work in facilities, marketing, HR, or if you are the office manager or the managing director.
Each year we carefully plan a programme of events for small to medium-sized businesses that offer an all-round introduction to responsible business covering: community, environment, workplace and marketplace.
All of our workshops are delivered by responsible business experts from our network of supporter businesses and our events are supported by expert table hosts, so there are lots of people on hand for you to learn from. Our workshops are 2.5 hours (typically morning) events that are hosted at the offices of our supporter companies locations across central London. At our workshops you will hear from a range of responsible business experts. We typically have cabaret-style tables supported by table hosts who facilitate peer learning group sessions. All of our workshops are interactive and designed with practical take-aways for you to take back to your organisation.
Jan – Dec: Our 2019 Programme of events including a range of ½ day workshops and online webinars will be released in advance so you can best plan which colleagues to attend the sessions
Jan – Feb: Launch of programme/onboarding – meet other businesses on the programme, be introduced to your account manager, get your log-in details for the online members’ area
Feb – March: Account management meeting – your account manager will set-up a meeting to find out more about your business and help define some responsible business goals
Aug – Sept: Account management check in – your account manager will check in to review your progress, providing specialist CSR advice and signposting where relevant to other useful organisations
Nov- Dec: Complete our end of programme survey and celebrate your success at graduation!
The Foundation Programme includes:
We recognise a high proportion of members are taking on this role in addition to their day jobs – our programme is built with this in mind, and we ensure we have two points of contact from the business (including a senior contact) to have shared responsibility for the programme. Our membership team are highly experienced and recognise that there will inevitably be competing priorities. We work to ease this process by scheduling account management meetings that work for you and give you the option to send relevant colleagues from different teams to events that might be of interest to them to help share the load.
