We don’t have presentations or keynote speakers at our surgeries – we want to focus on you getting to know other members our programme, speaking to each other, sharing advice and experiences and asking questions!
Meet your responsible business experts for this surgery:
Ella Blakesley, Corporate Responsibility Manager EME & US at Ashurst. Ella is a corporate responsibility and diversity and inclusion professional managing Ashurst’s CR programmes across Europe, the Middle East and the United States. Her role encapsulates all aspects of the CR agenda, but her primary focus is on community investment and developing mutually beneficial partnerships with community organisations.
Sue Hardy, Community & Skills Team Leader at Mace. Sue has worked across various organisations developing strategies measuring impact and social value and delivering programmes focused on social mobility, employability and diversity. She’s also delivered requirement around employability and training for hard to reach groups as well as managing charity partnerships, volunteering and payroll giving schemes.
Sam McCarthy, Doing the Right Thing Project Manager at Nando’s. Sam has worked in responsible business for the last seven years, in academia, professional services and now hospitality. Specialising in environmental management, staff engagement and sustainability reporting; Sam now works for Nando’s UK looking at carbon reduction and leading their work around social impact, increasing their community relations, volunteering and food donations across 420 restaurants and 18,000 staff.
