A message from the Heart of the City team

Measures to slow the spread of coronavirus are affecting the way all of us work. We know this is a difficult time for our members personally and for your business, and we at Heart of the City want to wish you well during this time. We hope you, your family and colleagues are coping well and looking after each other as best you can.

Like us, we know that most of our members will be working remotely now, and this can be challenging for you and your team. At this time, it’s particularly important that we take good care of ourselves and others and consider the importance of good mental health. Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing with you some ideas about what you can do individually or as a company to support communities and your own wellbeing through this period.

We’re looking forward to hosting a mental health webinar next week where Noa Burger, a specialist trainer in workplace wellbeing and mental health will share her best practice. If you didn’t manage to sign up in time, we’ll be recording the session and sharing it online as soon as possible.

If you’re not already, please follow us on social media – we’re on Twitter and LinkedIn where we’ll be posting useful information for small businesses and sharing some positive stories around wellbeing and community support. Some of our members and ambassadors have already shared some great stuff with us, and we’re looking forward to hearing more from you.

We’re looking forward to seeing you as soon as we can – please keep in touch and stay healthy!
