Britain's workforce is now more educated and has more graduates than ever before. Conversely, successful programmes for the worst educated has seen numbers of those with lower qualifications continue to shrink. However, two-fifths of the workforce remains overlooked with very little known about pay progression amongst non-graduates with 5 A-C GSCEs or more. Nationally this is significant, as failure to assist this group has been identified as a primary cause for the UK's productivity lagging behind other advanced economies.
